In an effort to expand its existing operations in Georgia, South Carolina, Alabama, and Tennessee, Kroger, one of the world’s largest grocery retailers, chose to establish a new distribution center in Forest Park, Georgia. The site is the former Fort Gillem Army base.  The 1,000,000 SF cold storage facility features:

• 34,000 SF of perishable space
• 283,000 SF of dry 85’ tall high bay Witron ASRS dynamic and automated order picking
• Over 100,000 SF of office space
• 60,000 SF of ancillary buildings for salvage, vehicle maintenance, truck wash, and fueling
• 310 acre site

• Compressed Air
• Fuel Oil/Lubrication for their maintenance facility
• Piping to truck wash, grease pipe, and safe-waste pits
