Exposed Plumbing and HVAC for IKEA Atlanta
Ivey Mechanical Company provided the plumbing and HVAC systems for this new store located in the massive Atlantic Station mixed use development in downtown Atlanta.
The 370,000 square foot facility consists mainly of an open ceiling design which exposes the majority of the plumbing and HVAC systems to public view. The storm water management design for the building included the first siphonic roof drain installation in Georgia. Over 6 1/2 miles of piping and approximately 44 tons of sheet metal were installed in the facility.
