Installation of Plumbing and HVAC at New Student Housing

The New Student Housing project at Millsaps College involved the construction of three identical four story co-ed residential buildings. The scope of work encompassed complete mechanical and plumbing systems for the facilities. This project was unique to Ivey in that it was an all wood structure. Since the buildings were constructed at the same time, several framing crews were used, meaning that none of the buildings or floors were framed exactly the same. Therefore, the plumbing and HVAC had to be cut and assembled on site and differently on each building. Nothing could be prefabricated.
