Installing the Latest Upgrades and
Creating New Patient Space

This project involved the construction of a five-story patient tower addition with numerous renovated areas within the existing hospital and an addition to the central energy plant. The addition has about 150,000 square feet with 28,000 square feet of renovated space within the existing facility.

Systems Installed

Ivey Mechanical’s mechanical contract included installing the mechanical systems for both the addition and renovated areas, including:

• Complete code upgrade of the oxygen tank farm
• Relocation of the existing Nitrous Oxide tank
• Temporary chillers and oxygen systems were used to maintain hospital operations during construction
