The Cedar Hill Facility is one of three correctional facilities located in Big Spring, Texas as part of the Big Spring Correctional Center. The project included all HVAC, plumbing, and site utilities for the 1,646 square foot addition to the existing medical building and a new 6,905 square foot, two-story maximum security building. Approximately 75% of the project’s above grade sanitary sewer and 100% of the project’s ductwork was fabricated and transported over 800 miles to the jobsite. Construction began in September 2017 and was completed in June 2018. There were a total of 12,810 man-hours worked with zero accidents.
