Baptist Memorial Hospital, North MS is a 540,000 square foot replacement facility in Oxford, MS. Extensive use of prefabricated components for plumbing, HVAC piping, medical gas systems and ductwork were used to complete the project on-time and within budget. The five-story, 250-bed facility has a stand-alone Central Energy plant that houses 1,200 boiler horsepower and 3,200 tons of hydronic cooling equipment. 16 custom and semi-custom air handling units deliver more than 730,000 CFM of air throughout the facility and over 1,200 plumbing fixtures and 34 miles of piping was installed for the various plumbing and mechanical systems. The latest innovations available in automated temperature control systems provide coordination, control and monitoring for the end user.
