 “Teamwork makes the dream work” …you’ve heard the expression, but have you seen it put into action? Our North Carolina team is celebrating a record year in both construction and service. Our NC Business Unit President, Rick Rushton attributes it to a team spirit, as well as a rise in Design/Build and Design/Assist jobs, “The opportunity to be involved early on in the design process gives us an incredible chance to provide input on design aspects that help us all become more productive and efficient, all of which benefits the customer, first and foremost. We saw a decline coming early on in Government projects that normally keep us pretty stacked with work and we hit the ground running to build new relationships and maintain our existing ones.”
Building relationships not only helped our NC construction team but also our service team. John Riek, North Carolina Service Manager made it his priority to create a team atmosphere among his group of people. Rushton noticed this effort and applauded Riek, “John has been on a mission to build his team up. From safety meetings to fun gatherings, it worked. The team has, in turn, been more dynamic and productive than ever before.” The continuity of the NC Construction and Service teams allows Ivey Mechanical to provide a complete package that has proven to bring value to our customers.
