Co-worker training is an investment in our future. Training improves overall job satisfaction and drives the success of our people. Training at Ivey involves many formats and venues from internal classes to on-the-job mentoring, to external courses in a classroom environment. In addition, many of our suppliers and vendors contribute their expertise to the training process through informative sessions on new products and services. Training is a key element to our company's success and the success of our employees.

Manager Training

Most of our manager training is currently conducted at the Duncan Gray Center near Canton, MS. The Center hosts approximately 300 of our managers each year. The following training sessions are scheduled in 2010:

Apprenticeship Program

Ivey offers approved apprenticeship courses in plumbing, piping, sheet metal, and HVAC service through the Bureau of Apprenticeship and Training (BAT) and the National Center for Construction Education and Research (NCCER.) Our employees earn more money and collect bonuses while learning a construction trade.
