CONSTRUCTION
Pre-Construction
Ivey Mechanical can provide value assistance at any point during the development stages of a project, from the initial idea to completed design. Our knowledge of mechanical systems and relationships with design professionals allows us to envision a project at any stage of development and to foresee complications in order to determine the most appropriate approach to the project. This ability can:
- Add value to the project
- Greatly reduce the risk of future complications
- Ensure optimal performance
Value Engineering
Ivey can review the documents for a project and provide value engineering, developing the most efficient and cost effective approach to the mechanical installation of the project.
Design/Build – Design/Assist
On partially developed projects, depending on the specific project needs, Ivey can provide complete design/build services or fill in the gaps. Ivey often teams with a design professional to carry the project drawings to completion. Years of experience in this process have afforded Ivey the ability to understand the design side of the projects, which enhances the communication between Ivey and a design professional.

Construction
When it comes to the actual construction performance on a project, we see most all competition claim the same major strengths. They say they perform their work on time and within budget while delivering a quality product and satisfying their customers. We at Ivey agree that these are major strengths and that most of our customers are seeking these attributes.
So how do you know who the best performers really are? Our advice is to pay close attention to testimonials, past project experience, and references. These comments from your peers and past performances should help to give you a better understanding of the true capabilities and offerings of a company as well as the type of people you will be dealing with.
Some of the in-house procedures and practices that make us successful and consistent on a day-to-day basis on our construction projects include multiple project planning sessions, scheduling, fabrication, drafting, BIM capabilities, in-house safety and quality manuals, cost monitoring systems, swing crews, customer feedback surveys, and national vendor and supplier partnerships.
Ivey Mechanical’s volume of construction projects is built on mechanical expertise in commercial, correctional, data processing, government, healthcare, hospitality and entertainment, industrial, and institutional projects.
